The Children and Youth Fund is the governmental frame programme for the youth field, supporting micro-projects of children and young people and their organisations. The resources are allocated by the Council of the Children and Youth Fund and the Regional Youth Councils.

The aims of the Youth Policy of the Hungarian Government are realised by the Minister responsible for children and youth policy, and the aligned operation of the Children and Youth Fund, the Regional Youth Councils and Mobilitas National Youth Service.

Mobilitas National Youth Service acts as the Secretariat of the Children and Youth Fund.

Youth in Action Programme

Mobilitas National Youth Service hosts the National Agency of the Youth in Action Programme of the European Commission. As such, its tasks are:
• comprehensive information service concerning the project lifecycle
• management and administration of the application procedures
• accreditation of EVS sending and hosting organisations
• development of skills and competences related to international youth projects

Eurodesk

Eurodesk is a European youth information service supported by the European Commission. In Hungary, the Eurodesk network provides information on travel, studies, internship, work, voluntarism, European partners and other topics in the youth field via its 19 Eurodesk Partners and 40 Eurodesk Points. Professionals, youngsters and youth leaders can ask for information personally, via e-mail and on the phone. (www.eurodesk.hu)

Compass

The aim of the activity started in the field of human rights education (being a secure basis of the work of Mobilitás) is to sensitise young people and their communities to human rights, resulting in initiatives and actions to solve their own problems and those of their communities.
Mobilitas organises training activities for experts involved in youth work. There are three accredited training modules available.

NIIDA - National Youth Information and Documentation Archive - thematic portal site

The mission of the database launched in 2007 is to contribute to the multiplication and to preserve the knowledge, know-how and values created in the Hungarian youth sector.
The Archive is a collection of youth information and methodology that provides information, theoretical and practical data for young people, youth workers and associations about youth research, actual projects, national and international professional documents, introduction of youth organisations, links, etc.

CSR - Corporate Social Responsibility

Since the partnership of the NGO and the business sectors is a recent initiative in Hungary, the business segment needs help to understand the possibilities embedded in this co-operation.
The task of Mobilitás is to collect project possibilities of high quality as well as to make the NGO, governmental and corporate sectors converge, to promote their constructive dialogue and to initiate a common effort for the above mentioned aims.

The 3 possible fields of co-operation:

• Young people are the possible consumers of the future. If a company involves these people in its programmes, they get to know its name and products.
• Young people are the possible human resource of the future - focus on the employment potential of youth
• Studying youth subculture makes it possible for companies to develop their products and services.
